Comprehensive Medical Check Up

The start of a new year is an ideal time to focus on your well-being and take proactive steps to protect your long-term health.
Start the Year with a Comprehensive Medical Check-Up
Our medical check-ups are designed to give you a clear understanding of your current health, and to spot any potential problems early — often before symptoms develop.
During your morning appointment, we take the time to look at you as a whole, not just individual test results. Your assessment may include:

Discussing and advising on any current health concerns you may have, whether new or ongoing.

A full review of your medical and surgical history, including family history of disease, lifestyle, current medications and screening status — helping us tailor the check-up specifically to you.

A physical examination, which may include:

Height, weight, body mass index/BMI and Blood Pressure

ECG (heart tracing)

Examination of:

Skin

Ear, nose and throat

Eyes

Heart, lungs and abdomen

Breast and gynecological system if applicable

Testicles and prostate if applicable

Muscles and joints

Vascular system

Blood tests taken during the consultation by our expert GPs, looking at:

Blood count (including immune system), liver and kidney function

Thyroid function
-
Cholesterol and diabetes screening

Iron, calcium and vitamin D levels

Inflammatory markers
-

Additional bloods available:

Hormone levels and ovarian tumour markers for women over 50

Prostate levels for men over 50

Tumour markers

Cholesterol markers including lipoproteins

Allergy testing

Urine testing to check kidney health or infection

Cervical smear test where appropriate

Sexual health testing and Contraceptive advice where appropriate

Bowel cancer screening stool test

Vaccination review and injecting you with any that are required, to protect your health whilst living in the UK or when travelling abroad.

Referral onwards for screenings tests such as:

Mammogram and Breast ultrasound; Colonoscopy; Abdominal, Aortic Aneurysm screening;

Carotid artery screening; Echocardiogram; Coronary artery screening via CT; Cardiac stress test; low dose lung CT scan; Pelvic ultrasound.

Referral to the trusted London Hospital specialists or allied health professionals as required.
