Ear Microsuctioning

We offer safe, effective microsuction for earwax removal, performed by trained GPs. Unlike traditional ear syringing, which uses water to flush out wax, microsuction uses gentle suction under direct vision, reducing the risk of discomfort or infection. It's quick, clean, and ideal for those with sensitive ears or a history of ear problems.

How to prepare for microsuctioning?

To ensure the best results from your ear microsuction, we recommend softening your earwax a few days before your appointment with over-the-counter ear drops (available at most pharmacies). This helps to loosen any build-up, making the procedure more effective and comfortable.

What to expect?

During the procedure, you will lie comfortably while our trained GP uses a gentle suction device to remove excess wax. It is a quick, minimally invasive treatment, and most patients experience little to no discomfort. You may feel slight pressure or a gentle sound, but the process is usually very well tolerated.

Post-treatment, you may feel a slight fullness in the ear, which typically resolves within a few hours. No recovery time is needed, and you can resume normal activities right after your appointment.
