We are pleased to share a few updates about new services and improvements at the practice

 SLOANE FROM HOME 

VIDEO CONSULTATIONS

As a London-based practice, we recognise that many of our patients are outside of London. To support this, we offer video consultations, allowing you to access care without needing to find a local doctor.

​

Video consultations are particularly suitable for:

​​

  • Follow-up appointments and ongoing care

  • Reviewing test results and treatment plans

  • Chronic condition management (e.g. fatigue, pain, hormonal health)

  • Medication reviews and adjustments

  • Initial consultations (where appropriate)

  • Consultations while travelling on holiday

 

This means you can maintain continuity of care with a clinician who knows your history.

If a physical examination or in-person investigation is required, we will advise you accordingly and help coordinate the next steps.

 PRESCRIPTIONS

We also offer Signature Rx electronic prescriptions, where a secure code is sent directly to your phone and email after your consultation. You can take this code to a participating pharmacy nationwide, who will use it to access and dispense your medication. This is a convenient option if you prefer to collect your prescription locally or need medication more quickly, without requiring a paper prescription.

 

As we have done for many years, we can also post prescriptions directly to you (typically within 2–3 days) or send them to your chosen pharmacy for same-day dispensing.

 

In addition, we can arrange medication to be delivered to your home or across the UK using our trusted service provider Pharmacierge and Signature RX, ensuring you receive your treatment wherever you are.

 

This service is complimentary when issued during a consultation, and a £35 fee applies for prescriptions requested outside of a consultation.

As mentioned in our previous update, we now accept selected International health insurance providers as a form of payment. This can help streamline billing and make accessing care more straightforward.
